MARTA is one of the most useless people I've seen. Lots of useless meetings that don't solve any problem. You get the train and the bus and see that nothing changes. My dream is to confront MARTA CEO in front of the city council and show all the pictures and videos I have.

Not impressive at all for what should be a world class city. This should have been a light rail or subway. What they should have done is extended the "subway" from China Town, down to Bay and then along Bay to Van Ness, up Van Ness and up to at least Market. A cross town Geary line could have offered an obvious transfer point at Van Ness and Geary. But not, let's just waste millions of dollars pretending to "solve" the homeless and addiction crisis instead. The real transit solutions, with their one-time massive infrastructure costs, can wait and wait while the city just repeatedly funnels limited taxpayer funds into fixing unsolvable problems.

You really don’t need a car living in Atlanta since MARTA go everywhere.

Important topics. Lousy operation at Lindenberg, always understaffed, very disorganized operation and synchronization between Doraville and North Springs train. Stop using the term single track. That is an internal vocabulary, average people don't know what single track is. The trains stink. Buses are always late and there is no synchronism with trains. Marta sucks. Marta is the shame of Atlanta. Get budget to clean the trains, they are frequently with trash and bad smell.

I love how they say that this is the first BRT in Atlanta. I guess, let's forget the Blue Flyer....and let's forget the Q Bus (Memorial Drive) experiment. Looks nice, though.

This is a really good first step toward improving transportation in ATL. Hopefully, it will be successful and be implemented throughout the city.

the silver line was a failure and now it's just regular buses. Need Rail because Rail has priority and not part of traffic unlike busses.

He even used the train to kill his self… smh.

Could the Marta mobility bus app tell us when the bus will transfer a person to and from their current location? And can the mobility bus pick up a passenger in front of their homes everyday?

Please consider the boundaries of drop off. I'm dropped off at a Walmart that is in high crime. My home is only 1&1/ 4 further. I almost got my purse snatched after being dropped off. Frightening!!

Disappointed to see that the board doesn't push back against the MARTA proposals. Other cities, worldwide, are able to have pedestrian access and modified egress during construction. As many have pointed out - the Five Points access closure is another blow on a long list of fundamental issues with the transit system. The reliability, frequency, and safety issues are the top concerns of daily riders - not a station facelift.

LA Metro Orange Line should have been Light Rail Transit (LRT) but was downgraded due to Anti-Rail Rapid Transit forces. todayt, Orange Line is planned for conversion to LRT to 3X rider capacity, reduce operational & maintenance cost/rider for multi-decade infrastructure, reduce schedule disruptions from loading bikes, and improve wheelchair accessibility in the future. LRT also wins the psychological willingness to ride battle over BRT. Atlanta would be wise to build more LRT connected to MARTA HRT expansion.

As of today, Marta doesn't cover all of the Atlanta metropolitan region areas of combined statistical population of 7,200,000 people. In the near future, the surrounding suburban counties that have voted not to join or be a part of the Atlanta principle public transport operator MARTA, all will vote to join/be a part.
